About me

I have been a counsellor and supervisor for 16 years and have worked in a variety of settings; Relate, colleges of further education, young peoples services and in private practice.

As you will see from my qualifications I am an essentially a psychodynamic counsellor. This means that I understand human behaviour by thinking about unconscious processes, the significance of individuals past history, and the meaning of present actions in the light of these.However,I employ other ways of working if it fits better with the client, whose needs are paramount.
